The Children’s Gallery and Arts Center is a Non-Profit Organization for the Visual and Performing Arts that offers acting classes in Homestead, FL.
Their “Young Actors Studio” IS NOT a school. It is an intensive course that prepares students for initiating an acting career. Members and students come to here to learn, to work and to share their talent.
Young Actors Studio explores different acting methods and techniques. We prepare actors as a whole but we encourage the development of an individual acting identity.
Days and Hours of operation: Monday through Saturday from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
Seasonal performances.
This Young Actors Studio is focused on developing experimental
theater, in which performances are interactive with the audience.
Our training prepares actors to engage the audience,
to invite the audience to feel a certain way in order to change their
attitudes, and challenge values and beliefs according to the performance’s
topic. This is about cultural activism, and not about the traditional
hierarchical method of doing theater.
