QUESTION:
Is it appropriate for me to email a thank you note to the Casting Director after a call back for my son who is 10 years old, or should we send a post card/headshot or a hand written note by him?
We do have an email address that is just for him.

The best thing is to send a picture postcard if you have it, or a headshot with a note if you don’t. It’s best not to use e-mail. Your son had a callback, so he already made a good impression.
Many casting directors would consider getting an e-mail not appropriate, plus the postcard/headshot has the added benefit for them to see his face again, so they’re more likely to remember him for something else next time, even if he doesn’t get the job this time. Maybe he’ll get it though, good luck!
