QUESTION:
Should I wait until my 5yr old gets an agent to enroll him in acting classes or just find one now? I wasn’t sure if most agencies like for you to go with someone that they recommend or not.
ANSWER:
Don’t wait! Actually, it’s a much better idea to take kids acting classes first, for several reasons:
– Your child will be ready when the right agent comes along.
– A good class will help you find an agent and stay clear of scams.
Although acting agents can give you a list of good acting classes and kids acting coaches, they cannot require that your child takes a particular class in order to be represented.
